What information is required for a Virtual Tour upload or update?

Please provide:

  • Virtual Tour link
  • Thumbnail image
  • Virtual Tour name
  • Unit type and unit number
  • Final English copy
  • Final Chinese copy
  • Pages to be updated
  • Any pages that should be excluded

Thumbnail files should be clearly named, for example:

How should the Virtual Tour name be formatted?

English

1-Bedroom + Study
(Type A2S 527: #18-01)

The unit type should be written in Title Case.

Chinese

1-卧室+书房单位
(Type A2S 527: #18-01)

The Chinese version should follow the same structure as the English version.

Do I need to provide both English and Chinese copy?

Yes. All Virtual Tour names and related content should be provided in both English and Chinese before the website can be updated.

Can Blackbird Media translate the copy?

Translation is not included unless specifically requested and approved. To avoid delays, please provide the final approved English and Chinese copy when submitting the ticket.

How should the thumbnail files be named?

Use a clear file name that identifies the property, unit type, and unit number.

Avoid generic file names such as:

image1.jpg
thumbnail-final.jpg
new-vt.jpg

Do I need to provide a thumbnail for each Virtual Tour?

Yes. Each Virtual Tour should have its own clearly labelled thumbnail unless an existing thumbnail has been confirmed for reuse.

Which pages will normally be updated?

For most properties, the Virtual Tour will normally be updated on:

What is different for W Residences?

For W Residences, updates will normally be made on:

The standard CDL Homes English, Chinese, and Agent Virtual Tour pages do not apply unless specifically requested.

If either W Residences page should be excluded, please indicate this in the ticket.

Can multiple Virtual Tours be submitted in one ticket?

Yes. Please clearly separate and label the link, thumbnail, English copy, Chinese copy, unit details, and page instructions for each Virtual Tour.

A table or numbered list is recommended if there are multiple Virtual Tours.

How do I submit a Virtual Tour upload/update ticket?

  1. Create a new ticket in osTicket.

  2. Select Submit Request for Residential Properties as the Help Topic.

  3. Select Property Website Maintenance / Property Website Maintenance (JV) as the Department.

  4. Assign the ticket to Blackbird Media.

  5. Add the required Virtual Tour details, links, copy, and files.

  6. Indicate the pages to be updated or excluded.

  7. Review and submit the ticket.
